Citi Bangladesh names Md. Moinul Huq as Citi Country Officer

He has over 25 years of experience across a number of banking fields.

Md. Moinul Huq has been appointed as the Citi Country Officer (CCO) for Citibank NA, Bangladesh.

Huq has over 25 years of experience in the fields of cash management, trade services ,export agency finance, agency & trust, financial institutions, and operations & technology. 

He has worked with Citibank since 2002, and has also worked for AI Baraka Bank and Dhaka Bank.

He has been responsible for leading the transaction banking  business (Treasury and Trade Solutions) of Citibank N.A. Bangladesh since 2012. 

As CCO, Huq will lead the Citi franchise in Bangladesh and will be responsible for Citi’s  business and its governance in the country along with building and maintaining strong  relationships with clients, regulators, government institutions and other stakeholders, the bank said in a press announcement.
