GoTyme Bank added 1.7 million new customers in H1

It now holds a total of $281.21m (PHP17b) in deposits.

GoTyme Bank is the Philippines’ fastest growing digital bank based on new customer acquisitions per month and transactional growth.

In the first six months of 2024, GoTyme Bank added 1.7 million customers, at an average of 250,000 new customers a month, the bank said in a press release. GoTyme Bank now has over 3.7 million customers.

The digital bank, launched in 2022, now holds approximately $291.21m (PHP17b) in deposits.

On average, GoTyme Bank onboards 250,000 new customers a month. It also recorded a 600% increase in transactional value growth monthly.

Key to this growth are the bank’s kiosks. GoTyme Bank said that it plans to add another 100 kiosks by end-2024 as well as more GoTyme ATMs.

GoTyme Bank also ranked as the top bank in terms of customer service, based on two separate independent studies.

In May 2024, Forrester reported that GoTyme Bank achieved a net promoter score (NPS) of 76. This is 15 points higher than the nearest competitor.

A separate study by the Singapore Economic Development Board, conducted at end-2023, saw GoTyme Bank receive the top NPS position amongst all banks and e-wallets in the Philippines. It also emerged on top of the EDB study on customer experience (CX) rating with an overall score of 78.
