GoTyme Bank rolls out international transfers to 170 countries

It supports transfers in 8 currencies.

GoTyme Bank has launched Send Money Abroad, a service enabling its customers to send money to over 170 countries and territories directly through the GoTyme Bank app.

Powered by Wise, the feature enables transfers in 8 currencies—AUD, CNY, GBP, EUR, JPY, KRW,SGD, and USD—and promises low transparent fees.

GoTyme said the service will offer real mid-market exchange rates, and visibility on exactly how much recipients will receive.

The Philippine digital bank says its service has low transfer fees, with one upfront fee based on the mid-market exchange rate, and no huddle charges or markups.

Customers do not need to set-up a separate USD account, and they can track transfers from send-off to delivery.

Foreign nationals residing in the Philippines can access the service, GoTyme said, and can open a bank account digitally.
