Mizuho Financial Group reports $1.71b in profits for Q1 FY2023

Net income per share of common stock is JPY96.75 for the quarter.

Mizuho Financial Group logged $1.71b (JPY245.19b) in profits attributable to shareholders in the first quarter of its fiscal year 2023, its latest financial results showed.

This is 53.9% higher than in the same quarter in FY2022, when it logged over $1.11b in profits.

Net income per share of common stock is JPY96.75 for the same period, higher than the JPY62.85 in Q1 FY2022.

Total assets as of 30 June is $1.86t (almost JPY266.14t), rising from JPY254.26t in the end of FY2022.
