Norinchukin Bank to accept $36.37m capital subscription

Nochu recently announced plans to support affiliate JA Mitsui Leasing.

Norinchukin Bank (Nochu) will accept a capital subscription of up to $36.37m (JPY5.7b) from several of its members on 20 April 2026.

The capital subscription involves lower dividend rate stocks (CET1 capital), it said in a press release on 6 February.

Nochu recently announced plans to provide support to its affiliate company JA Mitsui Leasing (JAML). JAML is making an approximately $968.3m allowance related to losses from First Brands Group (FBG).

The founders of FBG and related individuals have been indicted on charges including financial fraud and other offenses, JAML said in an online statement on 3 February.
