Siam Commercial Bank and Sansiri push for 50% paper reduction this year
Sansiri will use SCB's Digital Workflow technology.
Siam Commercial Bank (SCB) has partnered Sansiri Capital Partners to make Sansiri paperless.
Sansiri will integrate SCB’s Digital Workflow technology to reduce its paper consumption by 50% in 2026 and 70% by 2035.
SCB is piloting digital signature solutions and targets a 50% transition from paper to digital documents with Sansiri, said Sarun Ruttanaporn, CEO of SCB.
Greenhouse gas emissions are expected to be reduced by 3,131.6 kgCO2e per year, equivalent to planting over 150 large trees, said Apichart Chutrakul, chairman of Sansiri Public Company Limited.
Sansiri Capital Partners is the real-estate investment arm of Sansiri PLC, a Thai property developer.
