UnionBank names Gauraw Srivastava as wealth head and EVP
Srivastava was previously head of private banking at Vietnam’s VPBank.
Union Bank of the Philippines (UnionBank) has hired Gauraw Srivastava as wealth head and executive vice president for its consumer banking business, effective 16 December 2025.
Srivastava was previously head of private banking, wealth management & segments at VPBank in Vietnam. From 2022-2023, he was managing director for wealth & asset management at VNDIRECT Securities Corporation.
Earlier in his career, Srivastava worked for ICICI Securities and Standard Chartered Bank.
Srivastava brings over 20 years of experience working in banking and financial services across Vietnam and India.
Apart from Srivastava, UnionBank’s board has approved the hiring new vice presidents and assistant vice presidents. These include Vincent Dante Benedicto as HR business partner and vice president; and Rene Guzman as onboarding fraud detections and governance head and vice president.
New assistant vice presidents are Jose Gil Pineda, talent capability manager; Emmanuel Thomas Gerard Valeña, digital experience manager; and Antonio Villafria, Jr., problem management head.
