UOB Malaysia unveils supply chain management services in UOB Infinity platform

UOB clients will be able to digitally connect to buyers, suppliers, and distributors across Asia.

UOB Malaysia’s corporate clients can now use the financial supply chain management capabilities (FSCM) of the UOB Infinity business digital banking platform.

Enhancements include a broad range of FSCM solutions on a single platform, including procurement, payment, ordering, production, sales, and collection.

With these, UOB clients will be able to digitally connect with buyers, suppliers, and distributors within their supply chain ecosystem across Malaysia, ASEAN, and even Greater China.

The rollout comes after a study by UOB found that more than 8 in 10 Malaysian companies have adopted digitalisation and consider supply chain management important as they seek to expand over the next three years.

“Our insights reveal that companies have been incorporating digitalisation in their operations to meet new trade demands and requirements due to the reshaping of the global supply chain,” noted Lucas Chew, executive director and country head of transaction banking, UOB Malaysia.

“UOB Infinity’s new FSCM capabilities connect our customers with their ecosystem of suppliers and distributors, allowing them a holistic view of their business while improving business efficiency. Additionally, we can also support their entire supply chain by providing the required cash flow or working capital, even across borders,” Chew added.
