Westpac becomes banking partner of the Royal Flying Doctor Service SA/NT
The partnership covers workplace banking benefits for RFDS’ employees.
Westpac has become the exclusive banking partner of the Royal Flying Doctor Service SA/NT (RFDS) in South Australia and the Northern Territory.
The partnership also covers workplace banking benefits for RFDS’ employees.
Local Westpac teams will also support the RFDS’ fundraising events and initiatives. This includes being a Giving Day dollar-match partner, helping to raise vital funds for the services communities rely on.
RFDS SA/NT Chair, Peter de Cure AM, said the partnership recognises the importance of long‑term support for regional, rural and remote healthcare.
“The RFDS was founded on the belief that where you live shouldn’t determine the quality of healthcare you receive,” said Peter de Cure AM, RFDS S/ANT Chair.
“Partnering with Westpac, an organisation that understands the challenges and opportunities of regional Australia, helps us continue delivering on that mission,” de Cure said.
The partnership builds on the bank’s support of the Westpac Lifesaver Rescue Helicopter Service.
