CIMB Singapore welcomes new CEO

Victor Lee Meng Teck has 25 years of experience in retail, commercial, and corporate banking.

CIMB Bank Berhad Singapore has appointed Victor Lee Meng Teck as its new chief executive officer (CEO), an announcement revealed.

Lee is a member of CIMB Group’s senior management team. He returns to Singapore after serving in Malaysia.

He brings 25 years of experience in retail banking, commercial banking, and corporate banking across ASEAN and north Asia, according to CIMB’s announcement.

Lee will reportedly begin 2020 visiting all of CIMB Singapore’s locations and meeting its 1,300 staff.

His predecessor Mak Lye Mun has retired from the position after 10 years of service.
