Siam Commercial Bank rolls out online international trade service

Transactions can be made without the need to submit original documents.

Siam Commercial Bank has launched Trade ePass, an online international trade service that enables trade transactions to be made online.

Amongst services it offered include a smart delivery feature, which emails out letters of credit to foreign trade partners. It also provides real-time order status checks 24/7, the Thailand-headquartered bank said in a press release posted on its website.

Trade transactions can be made without the need to submit original documents, albeit conditions apply. Users no longer need to visit a bank branch.

Trade ePass is available on the SCB Business Anywhere platform.

Business customers interested in applying for Trade ePass can enjoy the service without any fees, SCB said.
