Citi names Stella Choe as APAC head of new Global Network Banking

GNB brings together relationship managers across Citi’s different banking businesses.

Citi has appointed Stella Choe as the Asia Pacific head of Global Network Banking (GNB), announced alongside the formal launch of GNB.

The new GNB organization brings together Citi’s global network of relationship managers from its commercial arm’s Corporate Subsidiaries Group (CSG) and its corporate arm’s Global Subsidiaries Group (GSG).

Prior to her new role, Choe served as head of Citi’s Global Subsidiaries Group for Asia Pacific.

“GNB’s coverage model will expand Citi’s network coverage capabilities and enable Citi Commercial Bank clients to enjoy the full power of Citi’s global, regional and local footprint that have been fundamental to our long-term success with large multinational corporates,” Citi said in a statement. 

“And whether clients come to us for working capital or funding, treasury, or investment banking solutions, our human network is already working in 16 countries in Asia Pacific, enabling both fast-growing mid-corporates and large, established multinational corporations to grow to their true potential,” it continued.

Choe reports to Rajat Madhok, Asia Pacific head of Citi Commercial Bank; Global GNB head, Marc Merlino; and Kaleem Rizvi, APAC Corporate Banking head.
