HSBC Singapore to open three wealth centres by 2025

The bank aims to boost client-facing roles by more than a third by 2028.

To increase its investment business by “fivefold”, HSBC Singapore revealed its plan to open three wealth centres in Singapore by the first quarter of 2025.

These centres will be located in the Central Business District as well as the east and west regions of Singapore.

“As Singapore grows as an international financial centre and international wealth hub, HSBC is uniquely placed to meet the wealth and international banking needs of our clients through the scale and breadth of our network and capabilities,” Wong Kee Joo, CEO of HSBC Singapore said in a press release.

HSBC’s Singapore client numbers also witnessed a double-digit growth, the bank said. Mainly these clients are high net worth individuals. To sustain this growth momentum, the bank plans to increase client-facing roles by more than a third by 2028.
