ING Australia names Andrew Hector as head of wholesale banking

He previously worked for ANZ for 13 years.

ING has appointed Andrew Hector as head of wholesale banking Australia beginning 1 November.

Hector has over 30 years of corporate and institutional banking experience, according to ING, and has work for both Australian and international banks.

He joins from ANZ, where he has spent 13 years, most recently serving as ANZ’s general manager corporate & institutional banking (property & health). 

He has also held director-level roles at Citigroup and Westpac.

ING Australia’s wholesale banking business constitutes a fifth of its overall revenue.
