OCBC names Elaine Heng as head of global commercial banking

Tan Yuen Siang will join the global wholesale banking leadership team.

OCBC has made leadership changes to its Global Wholesale Banking franchise, including a new chief.

Elaine Heng will take over the role of head of global commercial banking, succeeding Linus Goh who is retiring on 30 September 2025.

Heng is currently group chief strategy and transformation officer.

Tan Yuen Siang, who currently runs the global financial institutions business, will join the global wholesale banking leadership team.

Heng and Tan will report to Tan Teck Long, head of global wholesale banking.

Heng is tasked with accelerating the bank’s digital and sustainability-led growth agenda in supporting OCBC’s clients in the region.
