Bank BRI unveils digital credit mobile app

It has a flat interest rate of 1.42% monthly or 17.04% annually.

Bank BRI has launched Ceria, a digital credit mobile app, according to a news release.

The only digital credit app to be formally anchored by a bank, Ceria allows Bank BRI to effectively conduct credit scoring and prevent defaults. It has a flat interest rate of 1.42% per month or 17.04% annually with no monthly admin fees.

A maximum loan limit of $1,463 (Rp20m) is available for “ultra micro” clients.

Bank BRI savings account holders ages 21 to 50 can apply for Ceria online in less than 10 minutes. Once approved, users can begin shopping online at e-marketplaces like Tokopedia, Dinomarket and Panorama, with more platforms coming soon.
