Krungsri's Sam Tanskul to reveal updates on global fintech at ABF's Digital & Open Banking Conference

He will be speaking from the perspective of the bank's own fintech subsidiary.

Sam Tanskul, managing director of Krungsri Finnovate and head innovation of Krungsri Consumer at Krungsri (Bank of Ayudhya) will be one of the speakers at Asian Banking & Finance’s inaugural Digital & Open Banking Conference on 27 November 2018 in Hong Kong..

Known within the Thai banking community as the “Fintech Guru,” Sam was one of the people responsible for the success of "Krungsri Uni Startup" and "Krungsri Rise."

Sam will be sharing his vast knowledge on global fintech to the attendees of the conference.

Being in the banking scene for more than 16 years, Sam already has various contributions in his line of work. Before being part of Krungsri Finnovate, Sam spent 15 years in the production management and innovation units in the credit card business. Some renowned organizations he was involved with include UOB and GE Capital.

Sam stated that his key business philosophy is “Fail Fast, Learn Fast.”

In an interview, Sam mentioned that he will focus on fintech’s global updates and further innovations. Sam aims to progress in three key areas — accelerator & academic collaboration, startup project management, and corporate venture capital.
