JCB cards now accepted by GHL merchants in Malaysia, Thailand, Philippines

An estimated 480,000 payment touchpoints are involved.

JCB International has teamed up with Malaysian lending firm GHL Systems Berhad to enable acceptance of JCB Cards in Malaysia, Thailand, and the Philippines.

Under the collaboration, JCB Cards will be accepted by GHL's merchants in the three countries, estimated to be at 480,000 payment touchpoints, according to a press release.

JCB International is the international subsidiary of JCB Co., Ltd., a Japanese payment brand.
 
The rollout is set to begin in Malaysia in Q3 2024, followed by Thailand and the Philippines.
