Taiwan revolving credit rises to $3.78b in Dec 2025
Monthly retail sales surged to NT$453.7b, from $396.7b a month earlier.
Taiwan credit cards’ balance of revolving credit rose to $3.78b (NT$118.6b) at end-December 2025, rising from $3.75b (NT$117.8b) in November, according to data from the Financial Supervisory Commission (FSC).
Monthly retail sales reached $14.45b (NT$453.7b) in December, from NT$396.7b in November.
Monthly write-off was NT$0.65b, whilst the average ratio of delinquency credit rose by 1 basis point (bp) to 0.24% during the month
There were a total of 60.49 million effective cards reported across 32 credit card issuing institutions operating in Taiwan, of which 40.55 million were active.
