UNO Digital Bank offers account opening services to GCash users

GCash users can open a savings or time deposit account with no minimum balance needed.

UNO Digital Bank has teamed up with mobile wallet GCash to offer bank accounts to the wallet’s users.

GCash users can open a #UNOready@GCash account directly through the GCash app and access UNO Digital Bank’s products. UNO Digital Bank offers up to 4.24% interest per annum. Interest is credit daily, and there is no minimum maintaining balance.

#UNOReady@GCash also offers customers free life insurance coverage worth PHP50,000 (approximately $920) for a minimum monthly average daily balance of PHP10,000 ($183).

GCash users can also opt to offer time deposit accounts. The #UNOboost@GCaash provides up to 6.5% interest pa time deposits, with customers having the flexibility to choose a term between 3-12 months.

The #UNOearn@GCash, meanwhile, is a time deposit service offering a guaranteed 6.5% pa interest rate that can be locked in for 12 or 24 months.

Customers can open up to five tranches each for #UNOboost and #UNOearn and can deposit up to Php100,000 per tranche.

To open an account, customers must be at least 18 years old, must be a fully verified GCash app user, and have active mobile numbers and mailing addresses registered in the Philippines.
