Evercomm, CTBC Bank to develop AI-powered green financing platform

The platform aims to advance green financing.

Evercomm has partnered with CTBC Bank to develop an artificial intelligence (AI)-powered green finance platform based on the Monetary Authority of Singapore's AI in Green Fintech initiative.

According to a press release, the company said the platform aims to advance green financing and enable science-based transition planning in Southeast Asia. It will leverage Evercomm's AI technology aligned with CTBC Bank's international standards to manage landing portfolios for financial institutions.

By providing real-time insights, the platform enables banks to evaluate the carbon impact of their financing decisions and track their sustainability targets. It will also expand CTBC Bank's portfolio of sustainable finance products, including ESG Portfolio Lending and the Corporate Decarbonisation Rating framework.

The partnership was commemorated at a signing ceremony held at the Singapore Fintech Festival 2024.
