VCs invest $31.1b in fintech companies in 2024

Enterprise software companies and health companies got the most investments.

Venture capital (VC) firms have invested $31.1b in financial technology (fintechs) in 2024 year-to-date, according to data from Dubai-based VC fund Hillside Enterprises released in early December 2024.

The fintech sector received the third largest sum of investment in 2024 from VCs.

Enterprise software companies receive the most investments from VCs, with $76.6b invested to date, putting it on track to be the most VC-invested industry in 2024. 

The health industry followed with $60.4b invested to date.
