Bank of China Singapore revamps Family Card with improved cash rebate

Cardholders can earn up to $1,440 in cash rebate annually.

Bank of China Singapore launched its improved Family Card offering a slew of savings benefits for its users including up to 10% cash rebate on food and movie fees.

Users can also enjoy 5% cash rebate on online purchases, supermarket expenses, hospital and telco bills, according to a press release. Cardholders can earn as much as $1,440 in cash rebate in a year. 

"Over the last two years, our Bank of China Family Card spending has tripled, making it one of our most popular cards. We want to reward our cardholders by bringing about bigger and better savings – with up to 10 per cent cash rebate on dining, movies, online purchases, supermarket spend and more, we believe our new Family card will bring great value to cardholders and continue to be well-loved amongst families in Singapore,” said Bank of China Singapore head of card centre Anson Lim. 

The improved Family Card is the latest in a series of product and banking innovations, riding on the successes of the BOC Zaobao card and BOC Sheng Siong credit card.
