BII President resigns for personal reasons

Datuk Khairussaleh Ramli will return to Malaysia.

Finance Director Thila Nadason has been appointed interim officer-in-charge of PT Bank Internasional Indonesia (BII)in place of Ramli. Nadason will handle the bank’s day-to-day operations to deliver its business targets and stakeholders relationship, while the Board of Commissioners speeds-up the process of finding a new President Director. BII President Commissioner Tan Sri Megat Zaharuddin Megat Mohd Nor said BII has gone through several consecutive quarters of growth amid a challenging operating environment and its transformation to be the leading relationship bank continued. Megat Zaharuddin is also chairman of Malayan Banking Bhd or Maybank, which owns 97% of BII.
