HitPay and Visa to expand Philippine SMEs’ payment acceptance

SMEs can process both in-store and online transactions without a bank contract.

Payment platform HitPay is teaming up with Visa Acceptance Solutions to enable small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to process in-store and online transactions in the Philippines.

The partnership will integrate HitPay’s payment platform with Visa Acceptance Solutions. It expands Philippine SMEs’ card payment acceptance.

The businesses will be able to start processing both online and in-person payments without needing to set up their own direct bank contracts, according to a press release.

Following the launch in the Philippines, HitPay and Visa, through Visa Acceptance Solutions, plan to expand their partnership to additional Southeast Asian markets.
