Indonesia's Artajasa ties up with Ant International on cross-border payments
Artajasa connects over 80,000 ATMs and 41 million merchants in Indonesia.
PT Artajasa Pembayaran Elektronis, an Indonesia payment system infrastructure provider, has entered into a memorandum of understanding with Ant International for cross-border payments and AI-powered transactions.
Under the MOU, Artajasa and Ant International will work together to expand the reach of digital payment services in Indonesia.
The collaboration is expected to enhance cross-border transaction mobility for Indonesian consumers and international visitors alike, whilst strengthening the global competitiveness of Indonesia’s national payment system industry, the two firms stated in a press release on 27 January 2026.
They will also work on AI-powered mobile innovations, and SME digitalisation solutions.
Artajasa connects over 80,000 ATMs and 98 ATM Bersama member institutions in Indonesia. It is also the largest player in QRIS service, enabling payment acceptance at over 41 million merchants in Indonesia.
