Citi names Gunjan Kalra as APAC head of Citi Commercial Bank

Kalra has been APAC head of corporate sales and solutions since 2021.

Citi has appointed Gunjan Kalra as the new Asia Pacific head of Citi Commercial Bank, beginning 1 September.

Kalra joins the commercial bank from Citi’s markets business, where she isAPAC head of corporate sales & solutions, a role she had occupied since 2021. 

In her previous role, Kalra leda team of 150 salespeople across the region to deliver products from Citi’s markets business to corporate and commercial banking clients in APAC, the bank said in a statement.

Prior to that, Kalra was Citi’s APAC head for the corporate solutions group from 2015 to 2021. In her over two decades at Citi, Kalra has held leadership roles across APAC and Latin America.

Kalra reports to the global head of CCB, Tasnim Ghiawadwala, and Citi APAC CEO Peter Babej.
