SBI Funds Management names Nand Kishore as managing director and CEO

SBI Funds Management is a JV between the State Bank of India and Amundi.

SBI Funds Management has appointed Nand Kishore as managing director and chief executive officer.

SBI Funds Management is a joint venture between the State Bank of India (SBI) and Amundi, Europe’s largest asset manager.

Kishore takes over from Shamser Singh. Kishore is currently the deputy managing director of SBI.

He brings 34 years of experience working with the SBI on Branch Banking, International Operations, Treasury Operations & Investment Banking, Corporate Banking and Retail Operations.

Kishore began his career at SBI as a probationary officer in 1990.

He has also served as deputy managing director (Global Markets) at SBI’s Corporate Centre in Mumbai, where he oversaw the bank’s treasury operations.
