Bank of Singapore flags fraudulent app

It has reported the matter to the Hong Kong police.

Bank of Singapore (BOS) has warned against a fraudulent application pretending to be from the bank.

The application— which can be accessed through hxxps[:]//www[.]youkelai[.]com/fr/ apps/21904 — has no connection with Bank of Singapore, according to a statement.

“We have reported the matter to the relevant regulators and the police,” the BOS said.

Separately, the Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA) announced that people who have conducted any financial transactions through the app should contact BOS and report the matter to the Hong Kong Police Force at 2860 5012.
