
Do you know how much Singapore banks’ CEOs are paid?
The youngest CEO is the highest paid.
Asian Banking and Finance compiled the published annual reports for 2012 of Singapore's largest banks – DBS, UOB, and OCBC – to give you an idea of how much they’re getting every year.
We found out from the annual reports that DBS' CEO Piyush Gupta received the highest remuneration of $9.33 million. He received a salary of $1.2 million and a cash bonus of $3.45 million, among others.
While UOB did not disclose the exact amount CEO Wee Ee Cheong received in 2012, the bank gave a range of $8.75 to $9 million. Eleven percent of which was his salary and 85.4% was his bonus.
OCBC’s CEO Samuel Tsien, meanwhile, got a total remuneration of $5.55 million. Salary and fees amounted to $1.1 million, while bonuses were $1.8 million.
