GRGBanking links with Armored Transport Plus for cash collection solution

The innovation was unveiled in Manila.

According to a release, GRGBanking attended ICCOS Asia 2012 on October 15-18, Manila, Philippines. The theme of ICCOS Asia this year (International Commercial Cash Operations Seminar) is to bring commercial banks, central banks, CITs/Armored Carriers, Retailers and Casinos together into the cash cycle.

With GRG’s local partner, ECTK Integrated Security Group’s affiliate, Armored Transport Plus, Inc (ATPI), the company showcased its Intelligent Cash Collection Solution (P2801L), an innovation for retail cash collection which optimizes the cash management and develops new business model for CIT and retailer.

Over 210 delegates from 34 countries, including Central Banks, Commercial Banks, Cash Management Companies (including CITs) and supplier took part in the seminar, workshops, and meetings. Many delegates showed their interest in P2801L and some of them said they were impressed by the concept of cassette swapping.

According to Gary Soon, Regional Sales Director for Asia Pacific from GRGBanking, the delegates were very keen to learn the various reference cases of this solution that GRG has obtained worldwide, which truly enabling retailers to increase its store efficiency and thus reducing their overall costs associated with cash handling, as well as, improve their customer experience.

Mr. Soon said “this also sets an important milestone for the cash industry as how retailers can manage the cash logistics chain in a more effective and efficient way,
especially when they are under pressure to keep their increasing operational cost down.“
