HSBC names new South Asia head of wealth and personal banking

Kai Zhan g will be responsible for expanding wealth management across South Asia.

HSBC’s wealth and personal banking (WPB) segment has appointed Kai Zhang as the new head of South Asia.

Her role effectiveness will begin on 26 June.

Under Zhang’s management, HSBC said it targets further wealth expansion in Asia, capitalising on a wide range of opportunities, with a special focus on Southeast Asia and India.

She will be headquartered in Singapore and will directly report to WPB chief executive Nuno Matos and APAC Co-Chief Executive Surendra Rosha.
