OCBC NISP allocates $87.5m of 2022 net profits as cash dividend

The bank’s annual general meeting of shareholders saw changes made to its board of directors.

OCBC NISP has allocated IDR1.3t (US$87.5m) as cash dividend, with shareholders receiving IDR58 per share.

This equates to 40% of its IDR3.3t (US$222.1m) for the financial year 2022.

IDR100m, meanwhile, will be set aside for general reserves, the bank decided in its annual general meeting of shareholders (AGMS) that took place on 11 April.

OCBC NISP also made changes to its board.

Notably, Nicholas Tan has been appointed as independent commissioner, pending approval from Indonesia’s Financial Services Authority (OJK). Tan will serve in this role until the closing of OCBC NISP’s AGMS in 2026.

Shareholders have also reappointed Pramukti Surjaudaja as president commissioner; and Jusuf Halim and Betti S. Alisjahbana as independent commissioners, effective until the closing of OCBC NISP’s 2026 AGMS.

Lai Teck Poh has also been appointed commissioner, effective until the bank’s AGMS in 2026; and Kwan Chiew Choi as independent commissioner until the effective date of the new independent commissioner.

Parwati Surjaudaja, Emilya Tjahjadi, Hartati, Joseph Chan Fook Onn, Ka Kit, and Lili S. Budiana has been reappointed as directors in OCBC NISP’s board.

Shareholders have also reappointed Muhammad Anwar Ibrahim as chairman, and Mohammad Bagus Tegu Perwira as member of the Sharia Supervisory Board.
