Citi promotes Sutida Tambunlertchai to head commercial banking in Thailand
Citi has announced a slew of appointments over the past month.
Citi has appointed Sutida Tambunlertchai as head of Citi Commercial Bank (CCB) in Thailand.
Tambunlertchai will be responsible for growing the CCB business in Thailand.
Tambunlertchai joined Citi in 2022. She brings over 15 years of international banking experience, having worked in Asia, the Middle East, and the UK.
She is most recently Citi’s head of commercial subsidiaries group for Thailand.
She graduated from Wesleyan University, USA, with a double major in Mathematics-Economics and East Asian Studies. She is fluent in Mandarin, Thai, and English.

Citi hires StanChart veteran Anita Li to lead its corporate banking business in Hong Kong.
The bank also recently named Raj Rathi as head of its mergers and acquisitions business in India. Meanwhile, ex-J.P. Morgan banker Bhavin Shukla was tasked with lead infrastructure banking in JANA and Asia South.
Citi also announced a new global head of insurance and a managing director for specialty finance for its financial institutions investment banking (FIG) group.
