Taiwan’s CTBC Bank unveils new private banking platform

The bank will use the new platform to offer products and services to Hong Kong in Singapore.

Taiwan’s CTBC Bank has launched a new private banking business platform in partnership with Avaloq.

Taiwan’s largest privately owned bank used Avaloq’s platform to automate functions such as client relationship management, accounting, and compliance.

Regulatory checks are also reportedly fully integrated into the new core platform. This strengthens CTBC Bank’s risk management capabilities.

The new platform will enable CTBC Bank to offer specialised private banking products and services in Hong Kong and Singapore, according to a press release by Avaloq.

CTBC Bank has 219 banking service outlets in 14 countries across Asia and North America and was named as the most valuable brand in Taiwan’s financial industry according to the Brand Finance Banking 500 report.

CTBC Bank has embarked on tech upgrades to its online platforms in recent months. Earlier in 2024, CTBC Bank's Philippine branch unveiled a redesigned web interface and mobile banking app.
