Maybank opens 19th Sabah branch

Maybank opened its 19th branch in Sabah to allow for greater banking accessibility to the community.

 

Chief Minister Datuk Seri Musa Aman said that Maybank's presence enhanced the level of confidence of investors and traders in the growth and development prospects of Sabah, reports Bernama.

He added that the bank supports in creating a conducive economic environment and investment climate in the state.

In this respect, the opening of Maybank branch in Ranau was proof of the banking institution's confidence in the economic potential and prospects of the rapidly developing district, he said in a speech read out by State Local Government and Housing Minister Datuk Hajiji Mohd Noor.

"Hence, I believe the branch will surely make banking easier and convenient besides giving a new alternative for the good of the local community," he said.
