Hang Seng Bank China Ltd names Ryan Yue Sheng Song as vice chairman and chief executive

Song is also appointed as a member of the Executive Committee of Hang Seng Bank.

Hang Seng Bank announced the appointment of Ryan Yue Sheng Song as vice chairman and chief executive of Hang Seng Bank (China) Limited and a member of the Executive Committee of Hang Seng Bank, subject to final approval by the China Banking Regulatory Commission.

Currently executive vice president and head of global markets at HSBC Bank (China) Company Limited, Song will be the first mainland Chinese national to hold these positions.

Song will take up his new roles on 1 May 2018 from Gordon Lam, who will become adviser to Hang Seng Bank.
