Deutsche Bank names Johanes Oeni as SEA head of international private bank

Prior to his new role, Oeni led the WM business of Credit Suisse in Indonesia and Malaysia.

Deutsche Bank has appointed Johanes Oeni as managing director and head of international private bank in Southeast Asia, according to the press release.

Oeni will join the bank in April 2023 and will be based in Singapore. He has over 31 years of wealth management experience. Most recently, he led Credit Suisse’s WM business in Indonesia and Malaysia.

He has also served 7 years at JP Morgan and 3 years at Banque Indosuez.

Oeni reports to Jin-Yee Young, head of IPB Asia Pacific. He will also become a member of the IPB Asia Pacific executive committee.

Oeni is tasked with further expanding the IPB’s SEA business by growing coverage of Ultra-High-Net-Worth (UHNW) individuals, entrepreneurs and their families.
