Bank J. Safra Sarasin Singapore appoints Vinay Gandhi as CEO

The Ultra High Net Worth (UHNW) division in Asia will report to him.

Bank J. Safra Sarasin names Vinay Gandhi as chief executive officer, Singapore branch, effective January 26, 2018. Based in Singapore, Gandhi will continue to report to Enid Yip, chief executive officer, Asia. Gandhi joined the bank in March 2017.

Asia CEO Enid Yip said, "With the substantial increase in highly respected Client Relationship Managers, J. Safra Sarasin has extended its unique offering as a family-owned, global private bank to a broader range of clients in Asia. Given their UHNW clients, the new team appreciates the importance of the Bank’s heritage and its 176-year history of serving clients for generations. With Vinay’s proven ability to lead and grow business organically, we continue our strategic expansion in Asia while maintaining our long-term, prudent approach.
